Message from the President

Greetings and welcome to the Alpha Beta Alpha Omega Chapter website! The chapter was chartered on Sunday, December 5, 2021. We are honored to be the first four-letter chapter chartered in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The engaging, talented, and professional women of Alpha Beta Alpha Omega Chapter are dedicated to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s® founding principles of sisterhood and service. The chapter’s mission is to enrich the lives of the people in our community by providing service programs in the areas of education, health and wellness, economic legacy, and the arts. Through our community service programs, we are expanding the sorority’s footprint of service in the Northern Virginia communities of Springfield and Lorton, Virginia.

Since 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha women have dedicated themselves to being supreme in service. Alpha Beta Alpha Omega is continuing this 116-year commitment through strong community partnerships, innovative community programs and activities, and sustainable engagement in order to empower, build, enhance, and uplift the Springfield and Lorton communities.
