Alpha Kappa Alpha currently has six initiatives around which all of our activities and community engagement are centered. Strengthen Our Sisterhood serves as our "Foundation Initiative" as we strengthen our bonds of sisterhood to support our service mission.

Youth Leadership Institute (AKA YLI)
International Programs

AKA YLI is a youth-led and highly interactive leadership development program designed to empower and engage youth, ages 11-13.

Registration for the 2024-2025 program year of YLI is now closed. Please check back in Summer 2025 to register for the 2025-2026 program year. The program year kick-off meeting will be held in September 2025!
