On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Alpha Beta Alpha Omega Chapter, it is my pleasure to bring you greetings and welcome you to our website. I am truly honored to serve as the 2nd President of this vibrant, intergenerational chapter of women who are committed to service and sisterhood.

Chartered on December 5, 2021, our dynamic, award-winning chapter of over 100 members engage in thousands of hours of community service in Springfield and Lorton, VA each year. In conjunction with the Springfield Pearls Foundation, Inc. (est. 2023), Alpha Beta Alpha Omega has provided more than $7,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in our service area.

In alignment with Alpha Kappa Alpha’s mission of “Service to All Mankind,” we are dedicated to advancing the initiatives set forth by our International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, under the theme, "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood.”

Service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. With the theme Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022-2026 administration seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood of more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy.

Alpha Beta Alpha Omega is continuing this 116-year commitment through strong community partnerships, innovative community programs, and sustainable engagement in the Springfield and Lorton, VA communities.
